  23. Well, zapping P-RAM seems to have gotten much more complicated under System 7.

  28. any rate, no dialog box appears; holding down command-option-p-r RIGHT
  29. AFTER restarting the Mac caused it to pause for a second and reboot
  30. again, as Helen Rose and Lloyd Taylor pointed out.  However, the
  31. timing seems to be important; 4 out of 5 tries resulted in a normal
  32. boot-up procedure and a dialog box about rebuilding the desktop.  Oh,
  33. well.
