- A friend of mine just bought a used 90MB CDC external SCSI drive and
- we can't get it to work on his Mac Plus. I put it on my IIci and
- formatted it with Silverlining 5.33, installed Sys 7.0.1 and things
- work fine. It'll even boot from this disk with no problems.
-
- However, when we put it on his Mac Plus it isn't even recognized.
- He's got an old 20MB SCSI that works fine on the Plus, but the 90MB
- spins up but doesn't mount. When we run Silverlining it says something
- like:
- SCSI bus not responding, please check that devices are connected
- and turned on.
-
- We've tried with several different cables, with and without a
- terminator (including the exact configuration which worked on my IIci)
- Any ideas? Please reply ASAP via e-mail. Thanks,
