  16. A friend of mine just bought a used 90MB CDC external SCSI drive and
  17. we can't get it to work on his Mac Plus.  I put it on my IIci and
  18. formatted it with Silverlining 5.33, installed Sys 7.0.1 and things
  19. work fine.  It'll even boot from this disk with no problems.

  21. However, when we put it on his Mac Plus it isn't even recognized.
  22. He's got an old 20MB SCSI that works fine on the Plus, but the 90MB
  23. spins up but doesn't mount.  When we run Silverlining it says something
  24. like:
  25.     SCSI bus not responding, please check that devices are connected
  26.     and turned on.

  28. We've tried with several different cables, with and without a
  29. terminator (including the exact configuration which worked on my IIci)
