- the IIsi were almost comparable in CPU performance??!?! Have you
- actually ever used them side by side? The IIsi has about double
- the performance of the LCII... you are only looking at raw
- figures... the 16mhzs 68030 is a crippled one (sorta a 030sx if you
- will) where as the 20 mhzs IIsi uses a full blow 68030.... Why
- do you think that the lc II is half the speed of the SE/30 which
- is a 16mhzs 68030 just like the lc II.... The lack of VRAM in
- the SI does hurt video performance, but you havent seen slow
- color until you run a lcII in 8bit mode on a 13" monitor... the
- lcII is a fine machine, but if you can get an Si, you want to
- get it over the LCII any day for any application...
