  14. You need to stay current -- the most recent version of the StuffIt family
  15. format is 3.0, which a large number of people are using now. Downline can't
  16. decompress any of the StuffIt formats above 1.5.1, nor can Compact Pro.
  17. UnStuffIt Deluxe (currently) can only decompress archives created with any
  18. version of StuffIt before 3.0, and depending on which version of StuffIt
  19. you have (presumably 1.5.1), it won't help either.

  21. You need to get StuffIt Lite 3.0.1 (the latest version of the shareware
  22. StuffIt -- $25 to register, I believe; for creating SIT3 archives), or at
  23. the least StuffIt Expander 1.0.1 (free; for unarchiving ANY StuffIt format
  24. archive, Compact Pro archives, and AppleLink packages). Aladdin should be
  25. releasing a new version of UnStuffIt Deluxe shortly which will handle any
  26. specific SITD 3.0 specialties.

  28. You should be able to get these from the same source as 5-Stix (of course,
  29. 5-Stix is more of a demo, since until you register the shareware payment
  30. for it you can only play for a limited time before it quits).
