- The phenomenon appeared when I upgraded from 6.0.2 to 6.0.7. Probably
- came with new Sound Manager about 6.0.5. Somewhat disconcerting, because
- in 6.0.2, I had come to recognize any unexpected speaker noise as symptom
- of wild store into sound buffer and prelude to likely system crash.
