- Soft PC for Windows is already on sale. At least one distributor
- was advertising it in MacUser. The cost was $419 (U.S.).
- (I'm wondering when a PC emulation will cost more than
- a PC!)
-
- The most important improvement is the development of special
- video drivers that allow drawing routines to run in
- Native (68000) code. Since draawing takes up a lot of time
- in a GUI, the improvement in speed should be very noticable.
- This is actually very similar to how mac programs will run
- on the PowerPC.
-
- Unfortuneatly it still won't make PC video games work.
