- Most of the disappearing files and folders occurences I know about involve
- damage to parts of the file system's directory structures. Tune-Up 1.1.1
- should "prevent" this damage from occurring. It won't "repair" the damage.
- Your files and folders will continue to disappear.

- In any event, you should definitely backup your files and reinitialize your
- hard disk (repartitioning should be sufficient, reformat if it makes you feel
- better).
