  13.     I am an experienced MS-DOS user (no flames please!). I have used MAC 
  14. applications in the lab where I work. As I approach finishing my thesis and 
  15. my impending departure from this environment, I am interested in getting a MAC
  16. of my own.

  18.     I have a couple of questions that I hope someone out there can help
  19. me with.
  20.  
  21.     First, has anyone loaded a DOS operating system onto a Quadra? If so, 
  22. what programs did you use?
  23.  
  24.     Secondly, I guess the first question should have been CAN you load a
  25. DOS operating system onto a Quandra? {I know the literature says so, but...}
  26.  
  27.     If anyone out there has tried to use DOS programs on their MAC's, 
  28. I'd be interested to hear about your experiences and comments. I know, I know -
  29. why  would anyone WANT to run DOS app's, right? Well, this cowboy does. I've 
  30. spent too much money on  equipment and programs to give up on DOS {My 286 cost
  31. me way more than what 486's are costing now} From what I've read and heard, a
  32. Quadra sounds like I could get the best of both worlds.
