  11. I was under the impression that the Audio Pallete worked only with those 
  12. Macs that had built in microphones. Imagine my surprise when I called up
  13. the pallete and proceeded to record something with my MacRecorder. Is this
  14. stored as a system sound (the stack didn't seem to increase in size). Is
  15. the MacRecorder such a defacto standard that Apple put the hooks in it that
  16. are needed? 
  17. Is the Audio Pallete part of system 7?
  18. Is there a way to redirect the storage of this sound resource to a stack 
  19. instead of the system?(if that indeed is where it's being stored now) 
  20. Is there a better place for me to find info about how sound is done on Macs?
