- This is becoming a FAQ. MacinTalk as apple left it is indeed system-7
- incompatible, however a fully functional, sys-7 compatible version is
- commercially available as part of the talking moose program.
-
- Hmm... then 'splain me this: Why does it work for me? I'm running
- 7.0 with tuneup 1.1.1 and MacinTalk works for me.
-
- In any case, I thought the original question was this: "I've installed
- the MacinTalk XCMD in my stack, but it still won't talk. What is this
- MacinTalk system extension file and where can I get it?"
-
- The answer is yes, you need the XCMD *and* the extension, and you can
- get the extension from your local Mac User Group or from some ftp site.
- Or maybe someone already BinHexed it to you. I hope.
