  22.   I guess this is the low cost Chyenne M7213 that Maxtor promised it'll have
  23. a MTBF of 200.000 (yes, i know, don't get fooled about these numbers, but
  24. you've got an idea about its reliability). It's as fast as the Quantom
  25. drives, for $130 less (the low cost is due the use of less components in
  26. the drive, which decreases the assembly time and increases the reliability).
  27. I wonder if anyone will by 200MB drives from other manufacturers than Maxtor.
  28. I think prices will drop drastically because of it, and not only for 200MB
  29. HD's but also for 100MB, because many people may decide to pay extra $120
  30. to get double capacity.

  42.   The drive has 15ms access time, the same thing as the Quantum. It's the 
  43. SCSI interface which is slower (SCSI I vs SCSI II), in all MAC's except 
  44. Quadra, it doesn't matter because they have a SCSI I controller, and i
  45. heard that Apple decided to stop integrating SCSI II for lake of standard.
