- I purchased a PowerDrive 30 meg hard drive from HDI in 1989. It has a Seagate
- mechanism. Now its really screwed. I can start it up and boot my MacPlus with
- it. But after about 15 minutes or so, the Mac will give me an ID 2 system error
- and hoplessly crash. Then if I try to start up the Mac from the hard drive
- again, the drive gives me a repeating chirpping sound. Then the screen goes
- black and display a sad mac with the message "0F0002". If anyone can help about
- things like estimated price for repairs or whether it can be repaired at all,
- please post a message on the net since I don't have E-Mail set up. Thanks for
- your help.
- P.S: Can a Apple UniDisk 3.5" be used with the Mac?
