  27. Well, having used both extensivley, and being responsible for 
  28. about a dozen 7's and about 30 608's my opinion is that there is no
  29. real difference unless you're into playing with your computer instead
  30. of _using_ your computer.
  31. For the techno-toy bunch, 7 is vastly superior.
  32. For the just-want-to-use-it bunch, 6 takes less memory & disk space.
  33. (and yes, memory is an issue when you have SE's around, and II's
  34. already at 8MB)-- PMMU's, 4MB chips, etc all add up when you're upgrading
  35. 30 machines.)
  36. Try explaining to someone why they can't open up the same two documents
  37. they used to be able to.. And then try explaining why the wonderful
  38. system their 'computer-expert' colleague talked them into switching to
  39. isn't so good. And then try to keep them from going back to typewriters.
