- Well, having used both extensivley, and being responsible for
- about a dozen 7's and about 30 608's my opinion is that there is no
- real difference unless you're into playing with your computer instead
- of _using_ your computer.
- For the techno-toy bunch, 7 is vastly superior.
- For the just-want-to-use-it bunch, 6 takes less memory & disk space.
- (and yes, memory is an issue when you have SE's around, and II's
- already at 8MB)-- PMMU's, 4MB chips, etc all add up when you're upgrading
- 30 machines.)
- Try explaining to someone why they can't open up the same two documents
- they used to be able to.. And then try explaining why the wonderful
- system their 'computer-expert' colleague talked them into switching to
- isn't so good. And then try to keep them from going back to typewriters.
