  31. say that the OS != the shell/interface.

  33. Then, you say the problem with the Mac OS is it doesn't
  34. have a shell in your taste - a contradiction. And it isn't
  35. even true:

  37. 1) MPW has been around for NN years. It has a lot of tools for
  38.    handling files, building programs, editting, ...
  39. 2) Userland Frontier exists.
  40. 3) Alpha (the shareware editor) has a shell built-in (based on
  41.    the "tickle" language)
  42. 4) I wrote a freeware CLI called "!Dos" to end the "the mac has
  43.    no CLI" argument. It's not industrial grade, however :-)
