- A friend of mine bought an LCII, thinking it would
- work with his Mitac SuperVGA monitor. After much searching, he
- also managed to buy an 9-pin-to-15-pin RGB-VGA adaptor to get
- them connected. However, right now it seems he has sync problems:
- He gets something like three flickering images on screen.
-
- I thought that multisync monitors were compatible with
- Macs -- for example, I know the NEC multisyncs are also advertised
- as Mac-compatible. My friend's monitor's manual mentions about
- having an adaptor to make it work with a Mac.
- Is this just a straight pin-to-pin adaptor like the one my friend got,
- or so some montors really need a special one?
-
- Maybe it is something with the LC II video signal?
- What hsync and vsync frequencies do Mac monitors have to support,
- anyway?
-
- Mac gurus, please help. (I'll answer all your PC questions,
- if you want :-) )
-
-
- Many thanks in advance.
