- I belive the original author was referring to formatting a HD floppy on
- a Plus or an SE (old one), which didn't have a SuperDrive. So, the Mac
- couldn't be "more clever" because it was incapable of formatting the disk
- as anything other than 400k or 800k. A Mac with a SuperDrive won't let you
- format a HD floppy as anything other than 1.4 MB, unless you cover the hole.
- (Or maybe Apple File Exchange lets you do it?)
