  22. I quite agree. In a previous article I posted regarding a PB170, Asnate'
  23. EN/SC and a SCSI monitor, I was having problems recognizing all devices
  24. on the chain. I ended up talking with all parties involved and a few
  25. other third parties as well. The eventuality follows:

  27. Asante' EN/SC boxes are not truly SCSi devices in the fact that they
  28. do not contain a SCSI chip, or a processor. The processor is optional,
  29. however, without one in the external device the processing power is then
  30. consumed in the MAC. From what I gathered, the Asante' software runs the
  31. SCSI  data transfer and passes it on to the Mac processor. I ended up
  32. getting a different external SCSI ethernet adapter from a local firm and
  33. everything works great. Mail me if you have an interest in this device,
