- I've got PCPC's JetStream Tape Backup system on my network. The backup
- software is Retrospect. My question involves the purchase of additional
- 8mm tapes. In the past we've been using regualar Sony 8mm video tapes and
- for the most part have been free from errors. But now I need to purchase
- about 10 or more. I've looked in a catalog and saw a Sony 8mm Digital Data
- storage cartridge (2.5GB capacity) listing for $28.95!!!
-
- Are there differences with the type of tapes I've been using in the past?
- And should I continue to purchase the regular 8mm video tapes or shell out
- more money for the $28.95 ones?
