- One of the advertisers in MacWeek--Third Wave Computing--used to
- advertise a math coprocessor for the PowerBooks. Its cost was around
- $250. I no longer see it advertised, but when I called them a month
- ago, they said it was still available. You must send your computer
- to them for fitting and that may be why it's not popular. It may
- only become popular after the first year when all PB140 warranties
- expire.
- I have examined the inside of a PB140 and can attest that the
- solder pads for a math coprocessor are on the underside of the same
- board that holds the '030.
