- Neither does the mac. You put in an 800k disk into the HD drive, and it
- reads it. The mac just takes it a step farther: if you insert an incorrectly
- formatted HD disk, it spits it out. (Incorrect = HD disk formatted as DD).

- Personally, I think the mac does the right thing. Anyway, if you do have
- DD formatted HD disks, you can just put tape over the hole anyway.
