  11. It looks like both my serial ports on my SE/30 are sick.  I can
  12. not seem  to get either my modem or printer to work.  I have tried
  13. swapping the ports around and changing settings and nothing seems to
  14. work.  This seemed to have happened after a bad storm where we ended
  15. up loosing power several times.  I was wondering if anybody had some
  16. software that could test the ports so that I could make sure. Does anybody
  17. know what chips make up the serial circuit and where they are located
  18. on the board? Where could I buy new ones?  I have access to a surface
  19. mount soldering station and could change them myself If  I knew which
  20. ones they were.  Does anybody else have an idea on what the problem
  21. might be?
