- I own a 44MB syquest drive, packaged for a non-Mac (I'm sorry. I asked for
- a Mac, but the nice man at the shop gave me something else).
- I now regularly use a Mac to develop software on, and desperately want
- to connect the syquest to this machine. I have the leads, and, on
- startup, the syquest's light flashes, but it fails to recognise the
- drive in any other way. Apple's standard SCSI formatter can't find the
- drive, and basically none of the utilities I've tried acknowledge the
- exsistance of the drive.
- This may, of course be because it has for so long been connected to such
- an inferior machine, but I have reason for hope ...
- An ancient utility, from the days when the Mac's file system was
- flat-directory based (haha) formats the drive fine.
-
- So, what I'm after is software to format a syquest cartridge on a Mac /
- syquest drivers / anything to get the damn thing working.
-
- Any replies would be greatly appriciated, by email please ...
-
- Thanks ...
