  11. I own a 44MB syquest drive, packaged for a non-Mac (I'm sorry. I asked for
  12. a Mac, but the nice man at the shop gave me something else).
  13. I now regularly use a Mac to develop software on, and desperately want
  14. to connect the syquest to this machine. I have the leads, and, on
  15. startup, the syquest's light flashes, but it fails to recognise the
  16. drive in any other way. Apple's standard SCSI formatter can't find the
  17. drive, and basically none of the utilities I've tried acknowledge the
  18. exsistance of the drive.
  19. This may, of course be because it has for so long been connected to such
  20. an inferior machine, but I have reason for hope ...
  21. An ancient utility, from the days when the Mac's file system was
  22. flat-directory based (haha) formats the drive fine.

  24. So, what I'm after is software to format a syquest cartridge on a Mac /
  25. syquest drivers / anything to get the damn thing working.
