  24. The Powerbook 100 will wake up from sleep with a touch of the spacebar 
  25. (maybe other keys...my Powerbook is back at Apple being repaired for
  26. an unrelated (:-}) problem). But it will ALSO restart from a total
  27. shutdown with a touch of the spacebar! (the 140 and 170 will not)

  29. I'd rather have it accidentally wake up from sleep, with likely minimal 
  30. or zero disk activity, than have it go through all the disk activity of 
  31. a full startup. So I carry mine around in sleep mode.

  33. And a friend of mine says a thread on Compuserve's MAUG thrashed this out
  34. and concluded the heads are safely parked during sleep.
