- I notice tiny dots of ink splatter around the characters on output from my new
- Deskwriter. (Using a good magnifying glass). This seems to happen
- with a variety of papers. The overall effect is a smudginess. This
- is *not* spread of ink through paper fibers -- these are distinct
- splatters that seem to flare out from characters in the direction of
- print head travel.
