I have severe problems with PC Exchange (german version). When I copy
files (usually binhexed files) onto a DOS disk at my Sun Workstation
(using mtools on the Sun), I get a normal DOS disk, which every PC can
read. When I mount this disk on my Mac (SE/30 5/40, System 7 (german),
TuneUp 1.1.1) using PC Exchange and then try to copy the files onto my
hard disk, PC Exchange writes the files without ever reading the DOS
disk. The resulting files on my hard disk are as long as the original
files on the DOS disk but contain only garbage.
  When I try to open a file on the DOS disk using BBEdit, the file opens
normally. When I then try to copy the file to the hard disk, the file is
normally copied. Strange, isn't it?

Is there any help?
