- I have severe problems with PC Exchange (german version). When I copy
- files (usually binhexed files) onto a DOS disk at my Sun Workstation
- (using mtools on the Sun), I get a normal DOS disk, which every PC can
- read. When I mount this disk on my Mac (SE/30 5/40, System 7 (german),
- TuneUp 1.1.1) using PC Exchange and then try to copy the files onto my
- hard disk, PC Exchange writes the files without ever reading the DOS
- disk. The resulting files on my hard disk are as long as the original
- files on the DOS disk but contain only garbage.
- When I try to open a file on the DOS disk using BBEdit, the file opens
- normally. When I then try to copy the file to the hard disk, the file is
- normally copied. Strange, isn't it?
-
- Is there any help?
