- I haven't been able to find a way to do this even on Excel 3.0.

- I'm not sure about Excel 2.2, but on 3.0 the way to do this is to
- redefine the "Normal" Style (which should be Geneva 10, if it hasn't
- been already redefined). Go to the Format menu, select Style..., select
- "Normal", then Change: Font... and you are presented all the fonts you
- have on the system. From here on it should be easy.

- I'm not sure what you mean by \267 symbol (on my reader, rn, this was
- first interpreted as just a 7; on Geneva 10, option w yields a capital
- Greek sigma, often used for a summation symbol---perhaps this is what
- you mean). Again I'm not certain what can be done with 2.2 but on Excel
- 3.0 it's very easy. Anyway, if you can type it from the keyboard, I
- think you can put it into the cell. The way to do this is with a
- customized "Number" format. Go to the Format menu, select Number, then
- create your own. For example: "<option w>"0.00 where the quotation
- marks are included but <option w> represents your keystrokes for your
- special character; 0.00 will then print the value of that cell with 2
- digits after the decimal place---all this will print the value of the
- cell after your special character.
