- The first thing to try is to trash the settings file (you may
- have to trash all you can find, but the essential one should be the
- one in the preferences folder (Sys 7) or system folder (6). If that
- doesn't work, open the commands... dialog and click "reset" and
- then "save as" and make sure the settings file is being saved in
- the right place. Perhaps you have some utility like Boomerang or
- DefaultD that is confusing word when it saves the settings?
