  23.   Yup, that's what I did.  A few weeks ago, I finally received a letter from
  24. Symantec.  It was from their Returns department.  It read:

  26.   Dear  ,  (<---really!!  no name!!!)

  28.   We are sorry that we were unable to provide your software
  29.   requirements at this time, but we look forward to serving your future
  30.   needs.

  32. Attached to the letter was a credit slip for $19.00, the original "upgrade"
  33. price from 1.0 to 1.1.  Apparently, they treated my case as Returned
  34. Software, and gave me a $19 credit, which makes my upgrade $20.00.

  36. Of course, the lady on the phone denied there was ever such an offer.  Those
  37. Symantec folks really need to talk to each other more often!  Still, they did
  38. finally get me my money though, so I'm happy.
