  21. I prefer to use the Nuntius thread handling features as opposed to
  22. marking.  There are options
  23. in both the article and thread menus for various selection options.  It
  24. took me a little getting
  25. used to (I too prefered the NewsWatcher method), but find that I've
  26. adapted to the point where

  34. If you use the Nuntius, File:Open Special option, you get a heirarchical
  35. listing of your
  36. personal grouplists.  I find that this works very well.  I have Nuntius
  37. set so nothing loads
  38. until I load a personal grouplist from the menu.

  40. The only negative is that there is not an option to delete these
  41. grouplists from the menu.  I 
  42. restructured some grouplists and had to delete unused grouplists by
  43. searching for them in the 
  44. Preferences folder.  I also have had rare occaisions where a grouplist
  45. became corrupt and 
  46. forced me to rebuild it - this points out an advantage to Nuntius's use
  47. of read-seen-new files 
  48. for each news group - I retained all of that information for the
  49. individual news groups that
  50. made up the corrupted grouplist.
