  21. When I downloaded Stuffit Lite, I was successful the first time.  I don't
  22. remember where I got it, but I don't think that is your problem.

  24. If you download a .HQX file, you should be using ascii format, which is
  25. usually the default.  Unless you use a program like Fetch, you will need
  26. BinHex version 4 to decode .HQX files.  I believe Stuffit 1.5 uses BinHex
  27. version 5 conversion, which is normally used to convert a binary file that
  28. was uploaded with MacBinary.

  30. I used a recent version of "Fetch" to download it.  Fetch automatically
  31. converted the .HQX file for me, providing "StuffIt Lite¬ Install", ready to
  32. run.

  34. If you have a nearby anonymous ftp site, I can upload my copy of "StuffIt
  35. Lite¬ Install", using MacBinary.  Let me know.
