  17. National Instruments of Austin, TX produce a whole line of GPIB (IEEE 488)
  18. boards, including one for MCA bus.  There are others available as well, such
  19. as from IOTech in Cleveland, OH.  The National Instruments board is more
  20. expensive than the others, but well worth it in my opinion.  They use a custom
  21. ASIC rather than the standard NEC 7210.  They also use another ASIC in
  22. conjunction with it, the TURBO-488, which greatly simplifies the life of
  23. anyone witing low-level drivers for the thing.  (Believe me, I know all too
  24. well, being in the process of doing so now!).
