  16. I am looking for communication library packages for the IBM PC and the Apple
  17. Macintosh that will allow me to configure serial ports as well as send and
  18. receive data through them. I would really like a library package that is
  19. portable across both platforms but it is not mandatory. Can anyone recommend
  20. a package or packages that will handle this for me?
