- This may or may not be a solution, depending on the politics of your
- organization (If I remember the original post correctly, it indicated
- that there were poliitcal reasons for wanting to stay with Fortra(n/sh)..),
- but, there is a port of f2c available with the DJGPP package now.

- You could compile your Fortran by running it through f2c, then compiling
- with GCC (DJGPP). Supposedly, the translator (& the generated code) are
- very good. (I don't know - I am just repeating what I've heard)
