  56. They are a very professional outfit and generally there is an annual release 
  57. with new options. Current version is Semper 6.3 (6.4 is in beta).

  59. We use it for general image processing - FFT's and acquire spectroscopic 
  60. data in a Semper data format for dsiplay and manipulation.

  62. Semper is also extendable - which means you can write your own routines and 
  63. re-link them into the main code - there is very good documentation to 
  64. support this.
