-
- I'll second that. I saw Windows/NT in alpha release a couple of days ago. No
- DOS or OS/2 compatibility......but it could do 10 bezier curves. Very
- useful.
-
- Windows will multi-task fairly well as long as you don't mind re-booting the
- machine every now and again and you don't expect too much of it. OS/2 is much
- better and will handle many programs running simultaneously much more smoothly
- than Windows. I've used it daily for 4 months after a year of Windows and I am
- satisfied that OS/2 is the better system by a reasonably wide margin.
-
- The OS/2 Windows has OLE and parameter checking - the two main features of
- Win3.1.
-
- But recommending NT to anyone is like contracting the tooth fairy to write a
- program for you.
-
- And UNIX! I want to get some work done, not spend the next year trying to
- figure out how to get some work done.
