- Definitely not, except by a complete memory and I/O access emulation
- such as OS/2 does for some VGA modes in DOS windowed session. 8514/A
- and SVGAs are totally different. SVGA operate via memory accesses on
- video RAM, whereas 8514/As drive a video system with local intelligence
- via I/O accesses only, without direct video RAM access.
