  13. I have Hitachi external CD-ROM with 8-bit SCSI controller card
  14. without BIOS. Now I'm seriously considering of buying floptical disk
  15. for my machine, and I know that the ones that are available at this
  16. moment also use SCSI controllers. One of the complete kits have a
  17. controller included.

  19. I'm wondering if I could use two SCSI controllers at the same time in
  20. my machine or should I use only one controller for using both the
  21. drives? I thought the second alternative would have been obvious until
  22. I read that Adaptec has released a special SCSI controller for
  23. floptical drives. Do they (or CD-ROM drives) need special controllers
  24. or could I use some standard ones as Adaptec AHA-1542B?
