  16. Archive is a tape drive manufacturer, Viper is the one of the models of
  17. tape drive that Archive manufacture.  Aspitar is a version of tar
  18. written to work with the ASPI4DOS driver that comes with the Adaptec
  19. 1542B SCSI controller.  Sytos is a tape backup system written by Sytron.

  25. Yes there are cheaper alternatives. I bought my streamer second hand for about
  26. 300 quid + the 160 pound customs charge that was slapped on it *8-(
