  14. My Gateway keyboard, about 1 & 1/2 years old, has a space bar that is dying.
  15. It pushes down and tends to stay down, and while in the down position other
  16. keys tend to send an extra space here and there.  I talked with a Gateway rep
  17. who said "try lubricating it" [I did, and that didn't work] and "I can sell
  18. you a new keyboard for $65".  I'd rather not buy another keyboard from
  19. Gateway, since I use the computer maybe 4 hours a week and their space bar
  20. just didn't last.

  22. So, what's a good, reliable keyboard?  I like function keys along the top,
  23. having the keyboard set up pretty much the same as Gateway is a plus, and I
  24. want something that'll last more than a year and a half.  It doesn't have to
  25. be able to withstand a nuclear blast, just normal wear.  Low price and a good
  26. warranty are plusses.
