  13. Recently, an old Epson LQ-1500 came my way, and id like to hook it up
  14. and begin using it.

  16. However, I have a problem, and im not sure if it is with the cable or
  17. with the printer itself...  The printer is a serial printer, so im trying
  18. to communicate with it using a standard modem cable.  Whenever I send something
  19. to the port, nothing gets printed.

  21. Im wondering if the printer needs a cable with crossed lines (basically a 
  22. null-modem cable).

  24. Could someone clue me in, and/or mail me a pin-out of the serial port on the
  25. printer?
