- Recently, an old Epson LQ-1500 came my way, and id like to hook it up
- and begin using it.
-
- However, I have a problem, and im not sure if it is with the cable or
- with the printer itself... The printer is a serial printer, so im trying
- to communicate with it using a standard modem cable. Whenever I send something
- to the port, nothing gets printed.
-
- Im wondering if the printer needs a cable with crossed lines (basically a
- null-modem cable).
-
- Could someone clue me in, and/or mail me a pin-out of the serial port on the
- printer?
-
- Thanks!
