- Hello, I need help with an st-251 -1 MFM drive. Seagate disk manager has
- problems saving the partition table when I define one, so there may be some
- problem with its boot sector/partition table area of the disk. What I need
- is any info (as technical as you are inclinced to get as long as it is
- explicit in describing what you mean) regarding the use of some program
- preferably one avail by ftp, or using norton ver 4.5, as to how I can
- re-partition this drive.
- I did look at wuarchive in the file trk0bad.zip and the re-partitioning of
- the drive with CP/M (i think this is what it referred to) would be acceptible
- if I had some directions and the files needed (ie the cp/m ones) to do the job.
- Buying a new drive is a very last resort and will not be done if I can get some
- solution to work on this one.
- Ftp sites referring to the files needed to do what I described, or files
- that anyone knows will do what they think I described along with a note about
- the files would be most appreciated. Detailed instructions on how to use
- norton to fix it would also be appreciated. [Note: always remember to bring
- the manuals with you to college for things like norton and not just the disks,
- even if you are not sure if you will need them :( , this much I learned]
- Please help me with this, email would be best.

- Thanks,
- Joe Krug
