- Dear Nick,
- I bought the LOGITECH SCANMAN (not the latest Grayscale version) with the
- CATCHWORD program which came with it. IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY!!
- Despite having a fast computer, getting upgrades, and even changing to the
- PERCEIVE (Windows O.C.R.) program, it still doesn't perform with the highest of
- speed or accuracy.
- The bottom line, save the money until you can buy a flatbed scanner; I wasted
- at least $450 so far just for the scanner/Catchword package.
- I am disappointed with the accuracy of these programs which wastes my time
- editing to such an extent that if I abandon the program and time the whole file
- myself I would be much farther ahead!
