  11. Different Machines use the A20 address line differently; so there are different
  12. ways that the himem driver can be used.  Normally, the driver detects the type
  13. of machine into which the driver is loaded.  Yours and mine are AT class
  14. machines -- ergo type 1.  PS2 machines are loaded as type 2.  And apparently
  15. Packard Bell machines are type three.  I think there are about 7 or so
  16. different machine types.  There is a list of these as well as ways to force the
  17. loading of a different himem implimentation if the machine type is not detected
  18. in the Windows 3.1 manual.
