- Different Machines use the A20 address line differently; so there are different
- ways that the himem driver can be used. Normally, the driver detects the type
- of machine into which the driver is loaded. Yours and mine are AT class
- machines -- ergo type 1. PS2 machines are loaded as type 2. And apparently
- Packard Bell machines are type three. I think there are about 7 or so
- different machine types. There is a list of these as well as ways to force the
- loading of a different himem implimentation if the machine type is not detected
- in the Windows 3.1 manual.
