  14. Many of Microsoft's editors allow you to highlight text by holding down the
  15. SHIFT key and pressing the direction keys (arrows or otherwise).

  17. -At least it allows you to do it on all computers EXCEPT mine!

  19. I have an old '286 with a 1986 Award BIOS.  Is it more probable that the BIOS
  20. doesn't support whatever feature is required to pull this off, or is the 
  21. problem probably somewhere else?

  23. Note:  This is the only problem I've had with the 101-key keyboard.  I suspect
  24. that it is a replacement keyboard, and the original may have been an
  25. 84-key model?
