- Many of Microsoft's editors allow you to highlight text by holding down the
- SHIFT key and pressing the direction keys (arrows or otherwise).

- I have an old '286 with a 1986 Award BIOS. Is it more probable that the BIOS
- doesn't support whatever feature is required to pull this off, or is the
- problem probably somewhere else?

- Note: This is the only problem I've had with the 101-key keyboard. I suspect
- that it is a replacement keyboard, and the original may have been an
- 84-key model?
