  21. There has been a lot of commotion about this local bus and I just
  22. wanted to get a clarification on a couple of things:

  24. In order to take advantage of local bus, we will be investing our
  25. money in new HD controllers and VGA cards.  What about hard drives?
  26. I haven't opened up my box lately, but will our old hard disks work
  27. with the new cards?  I'm thinking on the lines of whether or not we
  28. even have a 32 bit data path on the pin connections on our current
  29. hard drives.  It seems that would should only have 16, since that's
  30. what most of the external controllers support.
