- I am looking for a 486-33 that is upgradable to a DX2-66.
- after looking around for a while, I have narrowed the
- search down to 2 companies that I would like to do buisiness
- with. I would like all of those people who have had experience
- dealing with zeos (zeos reps not included) to send me mail
- to advise me on whether to buy a centrix computer, or else
- splurge with the extra $550 and get the new zeos machine.
- The basic configurations contain:
- 8Mg RAM
- ~200Mg IDE HD
- SpeedStar 24x
- 15" monitor
- If I decide to buy the centrix machine, I have the opportunity
- to use the $550 mentioned above to upgrade to a Viewsonic 7
- monitor, which I will probably take. Please respond quickly
- if you have any input, because it is getting very close to
- the semester...
-
- If you would like to know what i am doing with this machine,
- I will be running mostly windows (maybe os/2), doing thesis
- work, a lot of programming. The screen is important to me
- because I get a headache if the refresh is too slow.
- Thank you all in advance. If anyone else would like a copy
- of the responses, e-mail me and I will send you a log of them.
