  24. I don't know that anyone has tested the 24X with X386 1.2E yet, but my 
  25. understanding is that, with the standard Paradise driver, you will be
  26. limited 800x600, and no accelleration.  There are additional registers
  27. that need to be programmed to get the additional functionality.  Also,
  28. the 24X uses the same new clock-select logic that keeps the 24 from 
  29. working correctly with X386 1.2E.  We are working this issue, too.

  31. My advise to you is to trade in your SpeedStar 24 on an Orchid ProDesigner
  32. IIs.  I can't give any time tables on when X386 1.2E will support the
  33. 24 and 24X, because we have not yet been able to obtain the information
  34. we need from Diamond.
