  14. I am considering upgrading my system and was wondering the following
  15. (especially after the recent spate of articles about the SpeedSTAR
  16. 24X, etc...):

  18. Does an ISA system with local bus slots (one for VGA and one for disk)
  19. have as great an impact on system performance as claimed by the
  20. manufacturers?  Will a system with a local bus and a S3 card
  21. outperform a system like a G2000 with an ATI Ultra card (video only,
  22. of course, assuming all else is equal)?
