  13. The fastest VGA cards fall into three categories:
  14. 34020 TIGA based (very expensive, $500+, awkward drviers)
  15. S3 based (fast line drawing, $200+)
  16. WINGINE based (just released by Chips and Technologies, VERY fast)

  18. The Wingine VGA cards are not yet in wide distribution but
  19. I have heard that they do not have the silly segmented memory
  20. addressing bottle-neck of regular VGA cards. This will be a BIG plus.
