- The fastest VGA cards fall into three categories:
- 34020 TIGA based (very expensive, $500+, awkward drviers)
- S3 based (fast line drawing, $200+)
- WINGINE based (just released by Chips and Technologies, VERY fast)

- The Wingine VGA cards are not yet in wide distribution but
- I have heard that they do not have the silly segmented memory
- addressing bottle-neck of regular VGA cards. This will be a BIG plus.
