- A friend of mine has a sick computer... I have a great book called Que's
- Upgrading and Repairing PCs [unsolicited plug!], that lists all of the
- IBM POST and Diagnostic Error Codes. The problem is, the only way I can
- see these codes is by using IBM's Advanced Diagnostics diskette, which
- probably costs more than I want to pay. My question is... Does anyone
- know of a freeware/shareware program that will display these codes?? If
- so, could they provide me with the ftp site that has it (or other means
- of getting it)? Any help would be appreciated!
-
- BTW, the error is in the floppy drive/controller, so it is not a fatal
- error, that is why the BIOS won't disply it on bootup!
